Summary of the Competition Council Decision no. ASO-31 as of 08.05.2019

The Competition Council examined the support measure concerning the exemption from income tax for state prisons enterprises.
It was established that the activity of state prisons enterprises employing persons held in detention  falls outside the State aid rules, excepting State Enterprise "Casa de comerț DIP" for which was found that the support measure constitutes de minimis aid within the meaning of art. 3 of the Law no. 139/2012 on State aid.
