On 20 September 2013 the Decision of the Plenum of the Competition Council no 13 as of 30 August 2013 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova no 206-211 as of 20.09.2013) entered into force, approving the Regulation on the assessment of vertical anticompetitive agreements.
The regulation at issue transposes the European norms related to the field in question and shall apply to: identifying the vertical agreements which are not covered by art.5 from the Law on Competition no 183 as of 11.07.2012 (hereinafter Law); assessment of vertical agreements provided for in art.5 of the Law; individual exemption of vertical agreements under art.6 para.(1) from the Law; block exemption of vertical agreements under art.6 para.(3) from the Law; withdrawal of block exemption under art.6 para. (6) from the Law.
