The Competition Council sanctioned the “Comunservice” Criuleni with 0.6% of 2014 turnover, for unjustified refusal to provide the public service of water supply and sanitation of the gas stations “Petrom Moldova” located in the Criuleni. According to article 11 par. (2) f) of the Competition Law no. 183 of 11.07.2012 : the unjustified refusal to contract with certain providers and/or supply to certain beneficiaries is prohibited.
The fine must be paid by “Comunservice” Criuleni within 60 working days from receipt of the decision. At the same time, the supply of drinking water to fuel station must be resumed to the end of 2015.
