On 7 June 2016 the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the EU Project “Support to the Competition Council” has been carried out at the premises of the Competition Council.
The event has been moderated by Prof. Viorica Carare, President of the Competition Council and Dr. Heinrich Hölzler, Team Leader of the Project and brought together representatives of the EU Delegation to Moldova, Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Ministry of Economy, Project’s Consortium and team of experts.During the meeting, the results of the project in the first reporting period were assessed and further steps for a fruitful cooperation for the whole duration of the Project were established.
The European Union Project “Support to the Competition Council” is planned for two years until the end of November 2017 and aims to support the Republic of Moldova in achieving objectives set in the chapter of competition law and policy under the DCFTA (Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area).
