On 31 March, 2014, Viorica CĂRARE, president of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova, dated with Mr. Bogdan Marius Chirițoiu, President of the Competition Council of Romania.
The meeting, which took place during the visit of Mr. Chirițoiu in Chisinau, participated Member of the Plenum of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova and the Chief of Department of Consumer Goods of Competition Council of Romania.
The purpose of the meeting consisted in the exchange of experience, the consolidation relations of cooperation and partnership between homologous competition authorities and its fortification. During the meeting were discussed competitive problems on Moldova and Romania markets as well it was examined the optimal methods for their solution. In particular they discussed the cooperation with other authorities, in a special way with those of regulatory authorities in investigations and information gathering, market liberalization and the competence of competition authority is the process of price intervention.
