The Competition Council examines the notification of an economic merger notified by „Sudzuker-Moldova" S.A. that is going to take place with taking the control over „Mazrus-Agro" S.R.L.

In accordance with CAEM Rev. 2 (Classification of Activities in the Economy of the Republic of Moldova) the activity conducted by „Mazrus-Agro" S.R.L. is the cultivation of cereals, legumes and oleaginous plants, and of „Sudzuker-Moldova" SA is sugar manufacturing.

In this context, the Competition Council of Republic of Moldova is interested in obtaining the views and comments of third parties based on this particular economic merger and how it affects the relevant market.
