The Competition Council examines the notification of an economic merger that is going to take place with taking the control by „Gemeni” S.A. corporation over „Aeroport Catering” S.R.L.

The Competition Council examines the notification of an economic merger notified by „Gemeni" S.A. that is going to take place with taking 

100% of the shares of the „Aeroport Catering" S.R.L., thus taking the control over it.

In accordance with CAEM Rev. 2 (Classification of Activities in the Economy of the Republic of Moldova) the activity conducted by „Gemeni" S.A. is renting and operating of own or rented real estate, and of „Aeroport Catering" S.R.L. is the provision of catering services on board aircrafts.

In this context, the Competition Council of Republic of Moldova is interested in obtaining the views and comments of third parties based on this particular economic merger and how it affects the relevant market.
