The Competition Council has examined the notifications received from the Strășeni Town Hall on 10/02/2015 and on 23/04/2015, regarding its intention to transmit goods amounting to 1,648,210 lei and 7,049,780 lei respectively in the management of Î.M.”Apa – Canal” Strășeni. The state aids granted to Î.M.”Apa – Canal” Strășeni are necessary for the water supply and sanitation centralized public service operating and it does not distort competition unduly.
It was found that the notified support measures constitute state aid within the meaning of art. 3 of Law no. 139 of 15.06.2012 regarding the state aid and are compatible with a normal competitive environment.
However, the Strășeni Town Hall will adopt an entrustment act for the water supply and sanitation centralized public service, meeting the conditions mentioned in the 12th and 13th from the Regulation on state aid granted for the beneficiaries which provide services of general economic interest, until 31/12/2015.
