The Competition Council and PRIAevents, in collaboration with ACI Partners, organized PRIA Competition Conference Moldova 2024. The event was held online and brought together representatives from several economic sectors in the Republic of Moldova, including IT, industry, health and pharmaceuticals, financial-banking sector, insurance, retail, energy and much more.

During the event, important topics related to the competition legal framework and its impact on various economic sectors were addressed in the context of the process of accession of the Republic of Moldova to the common market of the European Union. Among the topics discussed were the current trends in competition policies in Moldova and the European Union, the challenges faced by local undertakings in relation to European legislative requirements, as well as good practices in preventing and sanctioning anti-competitive practices.

The participants of the conference had the opportunity to learn about the latest changes of the competition regulations, essential for the proper functioning of business in Moldova and recent case law in the Union relevant to the practice of applying competition legal framework in the Republic Moldavia. The event provided important information for the top management of undertakings, but also for consultants who provide legal assistance in the field of business.
