The event is organized with the support of the EU Project “Support to the Competition Council”, funded by European funds.
The implementation of the provisions of the National Competition and State Aid Program continues to be the subject of discussions within the Competition CaFÉ platform. In this respect, today, December 12th 2017, the 24th edition of the Competition CaFÉ gathered more than 30 representatives of the Moldovan Government, the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova and Romania and of the EU Project “Support for Competition Council”.
The event was moderated by Mr. Veaceslav GUÅ¢UÅ¢UI, Member of the Plenum of the Competition Council who will present to the participants the main provisions of the National Program in the field of competition and state aid, as well as the action plan regarding the implementation of its provisions. Subsequently, Mr. Ion Å¢ĂRNĂ, Head of the Legal Department of the Competition Council will participate with a presentation on Anticompetitive Barriers Assessment.
At the same time, Mrs. Daniela ELEODOR, Project Manager of the Romanian Competition Council will present to the participants the competition impact analysis in three key sectors of the Romanian economy.
The event aims at streamlining the process of identifying anticompetitive barriers and removing them, as well as ensuring the alignment of state aid schemes with the commitments of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
